Not exactly, I use them for completely different purposes. To me, Tumblr does waaay more. It has blogs I read, funny stuff, sad stuff, in-jokes, etc.
Pinterest is “cool stuff that I want to save for later.” So Pinterest is less deep, sure. But it does that very well, and that’s useful to me.
I never claimed it made sense.
